For the Europe North office in Malmö, Storck is now looking for a Junior Category & Insight Analyst

The job holder should understand key players and trends, and be able to identify commercial opportunities and build trade arguments to achieve these. Your responsibilities include planning, creating, interpretation and delivering of accurate continuous research data, to support strategic decision making and other business needs. You will support the marketing and sales teams in delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis. You will work closely together with our Category & Insight Analyst, who will act as a mentor for this position.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities will be many. Below are some of them:

  • Weekly & Monthly reporting from data collection to report building
  • Supporting the sales and marketing department with various analysis
  • Development of new reporting tools
  • Continuously analyze Storck’s and competitors’ sales to find opportunities and risks
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager in the production and presentation of reports to the Management Team


Your profile

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or in Business, or relevant experience
  • Language skills: excellent Swedish and English
  • Solid Excel skills and an analytical mind
  • Creative problem-solver
  • Attention to details
  • Solid PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • A team spirit

Experience of continuous data sources (e.g. Nielsen, ICA Kundinsikt etc.) is an advantage. Previous experience of working in a category role in FMCG environment is an advantage.
